What does this mean?

Dear Robert,

Thank you for your help and patience.

The presented object appears to be a big-sized stopwatch for being mounted to a wall or dashboard of a plane. The stopwatch has a round case and the dials show the seconds in Arabian digits. It is just marked with "Made in Germany". A stopwatch comparable in size and the dial is shown in a film clip from the test range of V1 and V2 in Peenemünde. Such scientific stopwatches were commonly made by the manufacturer Junghans who usually mark their dials visible. This could be a special order for the test range in Peenemünde. This thesis is sadly not proofable which is needed to combine this historical aspect with this unmarked stopwatch of the WWII period. That needs this stopwatch has the be estimated as just a watch from this period in bad condition.

Comparable objects were recently not offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in bad condition and there is severe corrosiondamage is visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 40 to 120 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Gregory
