What does this mean?

Dear Timo,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry again. I hope you are well and had a great Easter holiday.

The presented object appears to an Indonesian tribal art wooden sculpture with the measurements of 70 cm height. This ancestor statue of a female in a squatting position is from East Timor probably the Atauro tribes which are famous for their wooden sculptures. Regarding the condition of the surface, this piece was made in the 20th century.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 150 to 400 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Georg
