The wooden chest measures 31” across, 13 “ high and 14.5” deep. The type of wood is unknown. There are two hinges on the back, possibly brass, and a latch closure on the front also possibly brass. It was obtained in Asia in the 1930-40’s by an uncle.
My uncle, Albert Gillespie worked in Asia in the 1930’s and 40’s and brought many items of furniture for their home.
