Not sure of the era or manufacturer, and possibly American. Of note: rear legs squared and sharp forward angles, front legs curved and ornate. Period-style seat with oval back and spindled armrests. Reupholstered and solid construction. No maker’s mark apparent.

A vintage Georgian style walnut compass seat armchair
In the English taste, made in America or England, early 20th Century
With rounded back overupholstered in wine-colored velvet with brass tack trim over a compass seat overupholstered in wine-colored velvet, shaped arms, raised on cabriole legs ending in pad feet.
CONDITION: reupholstered but otherwise appears to be in good condition
