Description from user:

This is a U Lun Gwye painting of the Mandalay moat surrounding the imperial palace in Burma. This painting has been in my family since the mid 1960's. It was given to my family by Khin See Win a member of the family of Ne Win Prime minister of Burma. she was studying medicine in the US at the time of his overthrow in 1960. She never returned to Burma. The assumption is this painting is pre 1960. The painting measures 18X26. The painting is oil on canvas. There are some minor blemishes on the painting. The notation on the back of the painting is in the handwriting of Dr. win
