Description from user:

A bronze sculpture of A King Charles springer spaniel lying on a cushion. It has deep detailing and has not been "cleaned" it has been attributed by others to Prosper Lecourtier 1855-1924. However it is unsigned & the pictures I've seen are terrible! It has a hidden wooden base that is secured by a bolt in the center.

Hi Jessika,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I've found what looks to be a pretty close match to your bronze at this website:
http://www.hamsheregallery.co.uk/stock.php?id=1235.
I can't say it's by Emmanuel Fremiet because it isn't signed but can make an attribution to him based on the similarities. His signed dog bronzes of this size bring a few hundred dollars at auction so yours would be worth a bit less. The wood insert - though unseen - is a bit unsightly...originally, this would most likely have been on a marble or stone base of some kind.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

Attributed to Emmanuel Fremiet (1824 -1910)
