What does this mean?

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I can't find that foil label anywhere and the name on the bottom of the vase isn't coming up with any possible attributions either, suggesting to me that this is either fairly new (perhaps unlikely if it's been inherited) or from a somewhat obscure maker with limited production (more likely).
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

An International School Studio Art stoneware pottery vase
Probably English or European, second half 20th Century
Of unusual pinched oval section with a granite glaze overall, the front with foliate decoration, bearing a foil label marked MM Keramica and signed indistinctly underneath Hoyt Hurbick(?) underneath.
9 inches high
PROVENANCE: inherited
$100-150*
