What does this mean?

Dear Chris,

What you have here is a 1960s Vintage Chinese carved stone wall panel. Wood is shaped in bamboo manner but its not bamboo I think. These were sold in pairs or sets of four. Made purely for decorative purpose and for export to western country's in Europe and USA. Stones are usually artificial colored to give them more expression. Stones used are usually soapstone and other common stone. My estimation is based on one panel, if you have two it adds to the value, together, if in good shape they can fetch ca. $ 200 - 250 in a specialized auction.
