What does this mean?

Dear Jad,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry and I wish you a Happy New Year 2022. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal.

The presented object appears to be a Jambiya dagger with the measurements of 19 cm x 3 cm x 1 cm. This type of dagger is common especially in the area of the Arabian peninsula. This dagger was made in Jemen out of iron or steel, brass, and probably silver or more probable a white metal alloy with a decoration of blue glass stones. The blade is signed and dated with "Zeid Mohammed Ahmad Mohaysin" and "2011".
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 30 to 60 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
George
