Hi VK,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The market for French majolica has seen more robust days but I've valued this in line with where comparable Sarreguemines pieces are selling at auction.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

An antique Sarreguemines French Classical style majolica tin-glazed earthenware vase
pottery mark in use from 1835-1900, probably 1840-60
model/pattern 893
Of squat bulbous form with tall neck, stylized foliate decoration (acanthus, sunflower and waterleaf) to the yellow ground, with Greek key banding, the underneath impressed SARREGUEMINES / 893 / 135A.
6 1/2 inches tall, 5 inches diameter
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition
PROVENANCE: acquired at auction
$300-500*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
