Description from user:

Large hand carved and sawn table with ornate Chapala Mexico design bottom stretch. Table measures 87" X 38" X 32.5" high. The table top slab is approximately 3" thick and has hand carved details around its edges. Bottom stretch member measures 74" long X approx. 7". Materials are pine, wormwood pine, creosote stain, and dowel-keys that lock the stretch member. Was purchased from a northern California used office furniture business where it had been sitting under several other items, obviously for considerable time. The creosote type fumes were still then present, but have since subsided. A friend from Central America has suggested that the piece may be antique based on its partial construction with wormwood, as the use of the material was acceptable only up to a certain point historically.
