Russian squirrel hat

These hats were doubtlessly quite expensive to purchase new but have fallen out of fashion to a large degree and do not retain much of their original value. Most fur hats - regardless of fur - bring less than $100 when sold at auction today.

mid-late 20th Century
Of pillbox form, constructed with red squirrel fur and lined with silk. Retains original manufacturer's labels
size 8
CONDITION: This hat appears to be in good condition; value assumes no tears, stains or odors.
