Persian Carpet Bought in Isfahan in 1977. Cant remember where from. Never used but does have a little colour bleeding to the edges. Dimensions carpet weave 118 x 156cm including tassels 194 cm

A vintage Persian Isphahan hand-loomed wool rug
mid/late 20th Century
In a vivid red palette, the central ground with rows of diamond-form medallions within a compound border, cream selvedges (fringe trim).
118 by 156 cm (46 1/2 by 61 1/2 inches)
CONDITION: appears generally good with some color bleeding.
PROVENANCE: acquired in Isphahan in the late 1970s
