What does this mean?

The appraised work is a 1976 color lithograph titled 'Grandpa and Me Going Fishing' executed from an original 1948 composition by American artist Norman Rockwell (1894-1978). The print depicts two figures, a young boy and an old man, carrying fishing poles, headed toward a landscape in the background with a dog at their feet. Rockwell was a well-known artist and illustrator who studied at The New York School of Art, The National Academy of Design and later The Art Students League, where he studied with Thomas Fogarty and George Bridgman. He found success early, with his iconic depictions of American culture created for The Saturday Evening Post. His oeuvre consists mostly of a range of favorite subjects including nuclear families, mischievous children, and scenes of small-town life. The estimate provided is based on comparables recently offered and sold at auction. The appraised work's size, composition, medium and condition (based on images provided), as well as the artist's current auction market were taken into consideration when determining the estimate. In many cases, pricing for similar examples available on the primary (retail) market vary, and are often higher than secondary (auction) market examples.
