A navy officer who was stationed in Japan @ 1940 brought this home to Walpole Massachusetts and then gave it to my grandmother.

made in Japan, bearing the Morimura "M" backstamp in use from 1920s-1940s, comprising:
(1) teapot - 6 3/4 inches tall
(1) covered sugar bowl - 5 1/2 inches tall
(1) cream pitcher - 3 1/2 inches tall
(6) cups - 3 1/2 inches diameter
(6) saucers - 5 1/2 inches diameter
(6) dessert plates - 7 1/2 inches wide
CONDITION: appears to be in very good condition; value assumes no chips, breaks, repairs or losses
