What does this mean?

Hi Monique,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This was not made by Noritake (though the marks are similar) but by the Fujiyama Co of Yokohama.
I have not included the crystal in this appraisal because I need to know how many pieces and what it looks like (are there tumblers, goblets, etc?)
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A vintage 70-piece Fujiyama hand-painted Yokohama parcel gilt part dinner service
in a rose pattern, made in Japan, circa 1950s, comprising:
11 dinner plates
12 salad plates
10 dessert plates
11 bread and butter plates
8 soup bowls
13 saucers (how many cups?)
1 teapot
1 sugar bowl
1 large platter
1 medium platter
1 oval vegetable dish
1 covered vegetable dish
1 gravy boat
CONDITION:
PROVENANCE: inherited; original owner purchased in Japan
