Hello Jennifer,

I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,

Considering the photographs, overall pattern, porcelain quality and the colours, I concluded that this is a Japanese Made Noritake Porcelain Dinner and Tea Set. The piece dates back to the period from 1960 to 1975. Pieces were decorated with white embossed floral motifs around the border. The rims of the pieces were coloured in silver. The design can be considered modern, due to the colour palette and decoration. The set is composed of following pieces:

12 Dinner Plates, 12 Soup Bowls, 9 Salad Plates, 13 Coffee Cups and matching saucers of same quantity. 9 Small Plates, 8 Small Bowls, 1 Serving Platter, 1 Serving Dish, 2 Serving Bowls (round and oval). 1 Gravy Boat, 1 Cream and Sugar Set.

The piece is in good condition without visible problems.

Printed decorations.

Dimensions: 70 pieces in total.

Condition: The piece is in good condition without visible problem

Provenance: Purchased by the current owner’s father when he was in the army. Korea in early 1970’s.

150-200$.
