What does this mean?

Hi Marty,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This is a copy of the Colonial pine tree shilling, as recognized by the small block printing around 1652 XII that reads "FACSIMILE PINE TREE SHILLING-INTERNATIONAL STERLING C'
I've seen this offered online for prices ranging from $5-100 but think, as the condition is generally acceptable and made to appear old, that it would have a value at auction of $25-35.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A reproduction of the1652 New England Pine Tree Shilling
made by the International Sterling Co, Meriden, CT circa 1930s
On one side, marked NEW ENGLAND AN(NO) DOM(INI) 1652 XII, then in the smaller circle "FACSIMILE PINE TREE SHILLING-INTERNATIONAL STERLING C': on the other side centering a pine tree surrounded by the words "MASATHUSETS - IN"
approx 1 inch diameter
CONDITION: worn and with irregular edges
PROVENANCE: inherited
$25-35*
