This was inherited from my mother who was a collector. She bought this item in 1989 in Michigan for $300 from Teddy Bear Country.

It's unfortunate but despite its original/new condition, this bear is no longer worth what your mother paid for it in 1989. The values Mearto provides are based on auction results and I can find no example of a Muffy Vanderbear Limited Edition Holiday bear selling for more than $50.
