The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil or acrylic paint on a board panel with the measurements of 33 x 39 inches. The painting depicts an autumn landscape with a forest and river. The painting is signed with the name "Molnar". There are some Hungarian artists known with this last name but their artworks differ in style, motif, and in the typography of the signature. The named folk artist E. Molnar paints in a totally different and much more colorful style which is the definition of folk art. That means this painting was made by an unknown artist with the last name Molnar in the last third of the 20th century.
Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
