What does this mean?

Hello Joe,

I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,

Considering the photographs, overall pattern, materials and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Made Brass Sailboat Sculpture. The piece dates back to the period from 1970 to 1980. The piece was made by an unidentified artist that his or her signature does not appear on any database. Since this type of sailboat making with metal materials was a common hobby during the 1970's it is very hard to identify individual artist without clear naming or clear marking. The piece is bent with the help of heat and certain bending tools. As usual to these pieces, the base of the piece was made of a natural stone, which helps to stabilize the piece since they are quite high in comparison to their boat body. The piece is in good condition without small signs of use, age and oxidation.

Entirely hand knotted.

Dimensions: 21 Inches High

Condition: The piece is in good condition without small signs of use and age.

Provenance: Possibly belonged to a known artist collection

20-50$.
