Description from user:

Signed Sketch of Laurel and Hardy playing golf on golf course in Scotland

Thankyou for your time, I purchased this piece several years ago. Purchased from a local antiques shop in Aberdeenshire Scotland, the sketch came from a local Estate where the owners were selling some of their furniture etc. This was supposebly sketched in Scotland of laurel and hardy on a golf course. I can't remember the exact one but I can find out more info if needed I'm looking to confirm if it's a print or a real sketch and who the artist is and an approx valuation just out of interest. Kind regards Sam

What does this mean?

Dear Sam,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

The presented object appears to be a drawing on paper with
100 x 110 mm measurements. The caricature depicts two golfers in costumes from the 1930s or 1940s. The drawing is illegibly signed. Sadly no additional information for an artist fitting in style and motif is given by reference books and databases.
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 30 to 60 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
George
