Artist: M. Gilmour, SFCA is an award-winning, autodidactic artist who became a senior member of the Federation of Canadian Artists ("FCA") in 2019. The Series: Since late 2020, M. Gilmour has primarily focused on themes related to the Frilandsmuseet in Copenhagen, Denmark. The series has so far won multiple awards, including second place in the FCA "International Representational" exhibition from 2021, among others. One of the artist's paintings is on permanent display at the Frilandsmuseet. The Painting: Kitchen Corner, Frilandsmuseet Oil on Panel 24x38cm M. Gilmour, SFCA, 2022 This painting won Best Still Life in the 2022 NOAPS Spring Online International competition, selected among over 1,100 entries.
