What does this mean?

Dear Gioia,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal.

The presented object appears to be a porcelain jug with measurements of 25 cm or 9 & 3/4 inches tall. The jug is decorated with a cobalt blue floral Art Nouveau style. The jug has sadly no porcelain mark and was made around 1900. It is comparable with the peacock jug by McIntyre and William Moorcroft but differs in detail. The question of why this jug is not marked and signed can not be answered and whether it is a copy by another manufacturer or a piece that was not serially produced.
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 100 to 200 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,

George
