Teapot and cover enameled with chrysanthemums and other Japanese motifs
Unknown
This is a Japanese teapot with moriage elements, a way of painting with raised dots. It has iron red, gold and turquoise colors on a white background. It was probably produced for export around the end of the 1800s or early 1900s, from the style and color scheme. It looks like there are places to attach a rope handle.
