What does this mean?

Hi Lucy,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
When I enter that serial number into the Jackson Guitar serial number database (https://www.guitarinsite.nl/serienummers-jackson_eng.php), it says "This serial number can not be traced back to a date;" I don't know if the database is only for USA-made guitars so I'll base the age of this on your history of purchasing it new in the late 90s/early 2000's.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A near vintage Jackson cherry-red lacquer and maple electric guitar
made in Japan, late 1990s/early 2000s
Serial number 1354577
together with lined hard case
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition
PROVENANCE: original owner
