What does this mean?

Hello Jairo,

This is a very pretty necklace, in a style that was popular at the turn of the century. The larger beads with the rings of protrusions call to mind Victorian baubles that were made with set-in circles of precious stones. Venetian beads are often in this style, manipulating colored glass in a murrine technique. The long narrow shape of the necklace, and hanging pendant is a style that was common in the 20s. The color scheme is special; I haven’t seen many necklaces from that time period like this.

You mentioned that you paid $250 for the piece. I do see necklaces like this going for $200 to $300, but oftentimes they are selling for less. I think it’s fair to say the Market Value is between $200 and $300, with the caveat that it might be difficult to find a buyer because many people sell for lower prices.
