Wooden chair with pegs to hold together. Back is 40 inches high and has an intricate carving of a woman’s face. Seat and legs are also carved with a scroll design. Seat is 16 inches wide by 17 inches deep.

This item belonged to my husbands grandmother who grew up in New Jersey. It has been passed down.

The rectangular plank back with shaped crest relief carved with a picture of a woman, over a seat relief-carved with foliate flourishes, raised on four legs joined by a box stretcher.
