What does this mean?

Hi Richard,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I can't tell from the photos if this is on small wheels or casters - it doesn't alter the value but if you'd like this appraisal to be as accurate as possible, please advise so I can adjust accordingly.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A Regency style mahogany veneered coffee table
Made by Gibbard Craftsmen, Napanee, Ontario, Canada, probably mid 20th Century
The rectangular straight-edged top with two rule-joint hinged drop leaves with rounded ends, raised over a corresponding frame fitted with a single long drawer with two brass pulls, raised on two shaped legs joined by a turned stretcher and terminating in brass paw feet (casters).
17 1/2 inches high by 27 inches long by 17 inches deep
CONDITION: wear appears to be commensurate with age and use.
PROVENANCE: acquired at a gallery
$300-500*
