This is a custom rifle built in 1943 by the Flaig Bros in Millvale, PA. It is a Custom piece built with various parts beginning with the Mauser 98 bolt action in 30.06 caliber.
This rifle was purchased by the original owner, my uncle, in 1943 (stamped on barrel). I have had it since 1975, and is in excellent condition. Never exhibited.

The presented object appears to be a "Flaig Bros." custom-made Mauser 98 sporting rifle with a 30.06 caliber. The main part of this rifle is the Mauser 98 bolt action which is combined with new parts probably by Flaig´s.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 250 to 600 USD.
