Thank you for contacting Mearto. This is a famille noire ginger jar. Famille noire porcelain originated in the Kangxi period (17th century) and became popular again during the late Qing dynasty, under Empress Cixi (19th century). The polychrome motifs of stylized clouds, birds and chrysanthemums are often used on Chinese porcelain of this period as well.
The red seal on the jar is Kangxi. It’s important to remember that Chinese seals can be apocryphal, meaning they do not always match the time period but could be used later to refer to or show reverence to an earlier period. The Fair Market Value is between $500 and $600, assuming it is authentic Kangxi ware.
