What does this mean?

Dear Timothy,

Thank you for your help and patience.

The presented object appears to be a double-barrel shotgun with exposed hammers. The barrel is stamped with different, not clearly readable, view and proof marks which are sadly not identifiable. Belgium and especially the city of Liege was a center for the productions of firearms but I can't see the Liege proof mark the letter E L.G. and a star in an ovoid circle. This rifle was probably made in the first half of the 20th century.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 200 to 400 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
