The appraised work appears to be a lithograph or possibly etching executed by American artist Edward Hagedorn (1902-1982). The print depicts an architectural structure similar to the Colosseum in Rome, with a series of repeating rounded arches. The artist working in both painting and printmaking and lived in the San Francisco area most of his life. He maintained a studio in Berkeley until his death. The estimate provided is based on comparables recently offered and sold at auction. The appraised work's size, composition, medium and condition (based on images provided), as well as the artist's current auction market were taken into consideration when determining the estimate.
