What does this mean?

Hi Robert,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Is this labeled? This wasn't made "by" Duncan Phyfe, who worked in NYC in the early 19th Century (circa 1825) but made in the style he worked in and made in the early 20th Century.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A vintage Centennial Classical style mahogany extending triple pedestal dining table
In the manner of Duncan Phyfe, American maker, early 20th Century
The rectangular top with rounded ends raised on three pedestal supports with brass paw-form sabots.
(height), extends to 96 inches (with three leaves) in length, 42 inches wide
CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition with wear probable from age and use.
PROVENANCE: inherited; descended in the Kinzie family
