What does this mean?

Hello Joanne,

Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. The item presented appears to be a stone lithograph by Diego Rivera (Mexican, 1886 - 1957) titled "El Sueño, La Noche de los pobres" (The Dream, The Night of the Poor). The print was published by Weyhe Gallery, New York in 1932 and in a limited edition of 100 impressions and some artist proofs. The print here appears to be numbered 80 of that edition but the print would need to be examined outside the frame to be certain.

The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of this work and other impressions of this print. The estimate is contingent on a full condition report and its authenticity. Please note asking or dealer prices may vary. It is a fine impression and I enjoyed seeing it. Thank you and please take care.
