Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I'm sure you paid a (much?) higher sum for this if you got it from a dealer but his mirrors - of which a few dozen have been offered at auction in the past 20 years, of different sizes and shapes, have all tended to sell for less than $1000 at auction, which are the values Mearto appraises at.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

made by David Marshall, American, second half 20th Century
The modeled circular frame with stylized foliate decoration and inset with red glass elements. The mirror glass acid etched "David Marshall"

CONDITION: appears to be in good condition
