Hello James ,

I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,

Considering the photographs, overall pattern, material quality and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Painted Japanese Made Pottery Vase. The piece dates back to the period between 1930-1970. The piece is decorated with a crane depiction, rest of the decoration is monochrome. The piece is marked with a pentagonal maker's mark, which is documented as Japanese in several databases alongside mid-century label. The piece's design do really resemble the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain as well, since there is likely a mutual inspiration. The piece has a removable metal rim and a dark brown glazed pottery base. The piece is in good condition without visible problems.

Entirely hand painted.

Dimensions: 10 Inches Tall

Condition: The piece is in good condition without visible problems.

Provenance: Inherited from family.

100-200$.
