Gino Cenedese's wares epitomize the strong tradition and large-scale production of the Murano glass works in the mid and late 20th Centuries. Due to the high popularity of Murano glass, there is a large quantity of it on the market today, keeping prices for all but the rarest and most cutting edge designs on the modest side, valuewise.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A vintage Murano gilt cobalt egg
made by Gino Cenedese (Italian, 1907-1973), Murano, third quarter 20th Century (1950-1973)
The ovoid form in cobalt blue glass with spiraling gilt accents, signed to the bottom.
4-1/2 inches tall
CONDITION: This egg appears to be in good condition. Value assumes no chips, breaks or repairs.
