This is a Chinese porcelain famille rose vase. There are gold animal finials and the surface is painted in colorful birds and flowers. A yellow band with curled floral motifs circles the shoulder. A violet band with chrysanthemum paintings wraps the base. Rose panels decorate the neck of the vase.
This style of ceramics, colored panels and rich flower embellishments, arose during the Qing Dynasty in the 17th and 18th centuries.
