Venice view by unknown artist

The item presented appears to be an oil painting, from the 20th century depicting a view of Venice. It measures 20" (h) x 20"(w). The work is signed in pencil on the lower right by the artist. It is part of a series as it is numbered "136/980". The condition appears to be good overall.

Unfortunately, I had some trouble deciphering the artist's signature. I've tried many variations, but without success I am afraid. If you have any further information regarding the artist's signature, please let me know and I will be happy to research further.

Therefore, the estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of similar paintings without artist attribution, dating from the 1950s to the 1990s. The current condition (based on photographs provided) has been taken into consideration when determining the estimate.
