The presented object appears to be a blue glazed ceramic vessel with the measurements of 8 inch height. The blue greenish glaze and the embossed pattern is typical for a series of cermaics which were designed by the Italian designer Aldo LONDI (1911-2003) for the manufacturer Bitossi. This piece is not signed or marked which is a hint that this from a larger edition. Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
