What does this mean?

Dear Timo,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

The presented object appears to be two wooden sculptures with the measurements of 120 cm. Both sculptures depict two men one with green skin and the other with red skin. The pose of the legs and the pose of the arms and fingers are a hint that these sculptures depict dancers and not deities. Both sculptures are mirrored in all details so they stand in front of an entrance or door. Both sculptures were made in the first half or middle of the 20th century.
These pieces are in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 1.000 to 2.000 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Georg
