Description from user:

Large stone, not certain what it is. There is a maker's mark star PA (Copyright symbol)

Know that it came from my Aunt Garda, given to a cousin and recently to me. Aunt Garda's husband was the private banker to Chiang Kai-shek, but I am not certain how she acquired this or when

What does this mean?

A Silver or White Gold & Gem-set Dress Ring
eight claw-set with a large pink oval mixed-cut stone, estimated to weigh 30cts, with heart pierced gallery, shank stamped with maker's mark PA & a star motif.

The stone needs to be gem tested to be properly assessed. It is possibly a pink kunzite if mounted into white gold or a synthetic pink spinel but if the stone is in silver then it is more likely to be imitation.

Preliminary valuation based on being imitation but could be reviewed if tested as kunzite or another natural gemstone.

Please identify the other rectangular mark on the other side of inner shank
