Purchased in 2000. From Pebble Beach Gallery Monterrey, CA USA. All I know about the artist: sales person said he/she had been shown previously at Chicago Museum of Art(?).

I've not found a match for that style or signature in a search of artists with the last name of Evans; it may be that they had a limited production and no records of works sold at auction. I'm also not coming up with any matches when I cross reference the Art Institute of Chicago.
