Description from user:

This has been used. It was in my Great Grandmother's house and has been passed on -4th generation. I think pre-1920, but that's a guess. basic, condition is 'used'. original paint, etc.

I'm 49, it was in my Great Grandmother's house near Portland, ME and my mother used it when she was a little girl and doesn't remember a time when the desk wasn't 'in' her life. It's been used by my mother, me and then my daughter who is now 18.
