What does this mean?

Dear customer,

Thank you for your help and patience.

The presented object appears to be a Sterling silver server by A. Stowell & Co. with 10"x 8" inches measurements and 1903 grams. The repousse server is decorated with a floral decor common around 1900. It is stamped by the manufacturer Alexander Stowell & Co. (Boston M.A.) and with Sterlin silver.
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 1.200 to 1.700 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
George
