Description from user:

I purchased a chandelier at a thrift store, it has no branding on it. Just a sticker that reads “Made in Italy” and another that reads “W2586-20”. It is solid white porcelain/ceramic. Maybe 18-20 inches wide and 18-20 inches in height. Great condition as far as I can tell.

What does this mean?

Hi Kelli,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The number "W2586-20” looks to me like an inventory number for an earlier retailer and not a pattern or model number.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A vintage Italian Rococo style blanc-de-chine 5-light chandelier
unattributed maker, 20th Century
With a tulip-form top and brass fitting over a baluster-standard and rounded base with applied floral decoration issuing five scrolled fluted arms with applied floral decoration. Electrified.
18-20 inches high, 18-20 inches diameter
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition; value assumes this is in working condition with no breaks, repairs or losses.
PROVENANCE: acquired at a second hand-store
$300-500*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
