Description from user:

Set of six antique, hand blown Gobblets. There are no chips, nicks or visible scratches/cracks. The glasses have no been cleaned and a couple of them has some minor grime on them. A couple of the glasses have some slight imperfections which look like occurred during blowing process. There are very subtle horizontal waves in the glass. These were inherited by my mother from a friend. She indicated they were Italian in origin and her friend who passed them on was Scottish. I took photos with and without flash. Very difficult to photo glass.

Hi Douglas,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Your photographs are great - glass is VERY hard to photo!
These goblets are not 250 years old; I know this from the shaping of the faceted stems, which was a style that first started in the mid 19th Century / Victorian period. These could have been done anytime between the mid 19th century to the first quarter of the 20th Century (1925); the form continues to be more mass-produced to this day. The discrepancies (air bubbles and other 'imperfections' are good indicates that these are more likely 19th Century. However, this style was made fairly ubiquitously so without maker's marks or other similar markings its nearly impossible to tell with certainty where these were made. Sadly, however, the market for unattributed 19th Century glass of such few numbers - and that these are clear - is quite soft: I would be very surprised if these brought more than $25-35 PER GLASS.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
